This is one of my favorite candids of myself. It wasn’t planned, I didn’t hold out a selfie stick and pretend to be having a hearty chuckle. I was walking along the beach in the OBX with my Uncle and my great friend happened to be clicking away. And I LOVE it.

This is why I want to take pictures. I love the emotions they evoke. I love how they change perspective. But mostly, I love how pictures make you smile, bringing back token moments that without pictures, would only exist in memory.
